ORTHODOX PSYCHOTHERAPY by Hierotheos

“Contemporary man, tired and discouraged by the various problems which torment him, is looking for rest and refreshment…..My basic aim is to help contemporary man to find his cure within the Orthodox Church, as we too are struggling to attain it. I realize that we are all sick and seeking the Physician. We are ill and seeking a cure. The Orthodox Church is the inn and the hospital in which every sick and distressed person can be healed.” (Metropolitan Hierotheos explaining the purpose of his book.)

FROM THE PASTOR

It is especially during the season of the Great Fast and the celebration of Pascha that we experience this healing of which Metropolitan Hierotheos speaks.  Let us all take advantage of every opportunity to allow the Great Physician, Christ Himself, to heal us through the sacraments and services of the church.
